BACKGROUND
The Little Eataly, situated right in the heart of Bickendorf Cologne, is a cozy, charming Italian restaurant oozing Mediterranean flair. The location - a former pub that was getting on in years - has reemerged in a shiny new light! We started with exposing the beautiful masonry behind most of the walls to create that rustic Mediterranean look and feel and continued by juxtaposing industrial style elements with warm, soft materials and colors, which rounded off the ambience beautifully. The bar, which was taken over from the previous outlet, was given a completely new, robust yet inviting look. It along with the imposing and practical service station serve as the eye-catchers and in some way as the heart of the object as well. Lots of focus was geared towards the seating comfort and variety, hence the many seating zones with their differing atmospheres. A particular highlight is the zone located at the rear of the outlet, which we dubbed the “romantic area”, here the guests will find themselves tucked away under soft alcoves surrounded by soothing, romantic mood lighting.
Das Little Eataly ist ein gemütliches italienisches Restaurant mit charmantem und mediterranem Flair, mitten in Köln Bickendorf. Die Location – eine ehemalige Kneipe die bereits in die Jahre gekommen war – erscheint nun in völlig neuem Glanz! Für die rustikale, mediterrane Atmosphäre ließen wir an vielen Stellen das originale Mauerwerk freilegen. Eine gezielte Kombination von industriellen Stilelementen mit warmen, weichen Farben und Materialien runden das gemütliche Ambiente ab. Die Bar wurde aus der Bestandssituation übernommen, wurde in einem ganz neuen Look überarbeitet und lädt nun zum Verweilen ein. Zusammen mit der großzügigen und praktischen Servicestation bildet sie das Herzstück der Gestaltung. Es werden außerdem verschiedene Zonen mit unterschiedlichen Atmosphären angeboten. Dabei stand jederzeit besonders der Sitzkomfort im Vordergrund. Ein besonderes Highlight ist die von uns als „romantic area“ getaufte Zone im hinteren Bereich des Outlets. Hier finden die Gäste Sitznischen und eine sehr private Atmosphäre mit vielen romantischen Stimmungslichtern vor.
